Sookie's ancestry will also be making itself known. Erik and Sookie will need to face who they really are to survive. I know it taking me a while to bring her to it, but this is the book where Sookie choses to and becomes Erik's progeny. I wanted her to chose him.

Sookie wakes up in faerie at Niall’s feet and gets turned from “telepathic waitress with light tricks” into something sharper and much more dangerous. When Sookie and Niall finally burn their way back into the human world at the start of season 6, Bon Temps is a graveyard with a bar, Bill is a god-flavored horror show, and Eric has survived by throwing himself into every war and every bed that wasn’t hers. She’s stronger and harder; he’s colder and more desperate; and Warlow is closing in on the bloodline that refuses to belong to him.
