Summary
[Starts during the last arc after Tanjiro becomes a demon.] SPOILERS for canon
Everyone was dead and it was by Tanjiro's hands. He can't look at his surrounding, the bodies of his friends and comrades lay on the ground, all broken and torn.
Oddly, he didn't have to. Tanjiro somehow finds himself back at his old home in the mountain. He didn't know what had happened but he for sure wasn't going to let the same incidents happen again.

Summary
“Kaiser?” another sound, or a scratch? He stands a few feet away from Kaiser’s bed as the blankets move, faint sounds of cloth and a high whine coming from just beneath it. He pulls the sheets away as if ripping off a bandage, looking ahead for the source of the sound, but nothing is there. There's a meow, Isagi’s eyes drift downwards, and he pulls the blanket back from a small, writhing lump under the duvet, revealing pert ears and wheaten fur.
“Kaiser..” he says out loud, and the cat makes a loud noise. He says the name again, even though it burns through his throat on the way up, and the cat mewls happily, almost eager, staring expectingly up at Isagi with its blue eyes, “you must be… Kaiser’s!”
The cat’s ears fan out like an airplane ready for take off, and he swats at Isagi’s forehead.

"The interior of Kaiser's car blocked all external noises, only the sound of their heavy breaths and Kaiser's fingers drumming against the steering wheel resounded in their closed-off world.
'We aren't telling anyone about this,' Isagi murmured, looking blankly overhead, like the car ceiling held all the answers to the universe's mysteries.
'Of fucking course we aren't.' Kaiser readily agreed, hunched over, with the palm of his hand covering his face in embarrassment."
Or, the pains Kaiser and Isagi go through to hide that they're dating.

Isagi Issei has never understood what ‘El Gee Bee Tee’ was. He didn’t understand it when he saw two women holding hands under the same umbrella, nor the pink flag keychains that hung from their bags.
He didn’t understand it either, and he was a little taken aback, when he saw a man leave a soft kiss on another’s cheek in the mall. Although he’ll never say it out loud, he could feel a small bitter aftertaste in his mouth.
So imagine his surprise when one day, his only son brought a man home. A tattooed, foreign man to say the least.
“Mom, dad,” Isagi started, as the two men stepped into the foyer. Issei could feel his eyes widen as his gaze traced from the blue rose on the foreigner’s neck, down the inked vines and onto their interlocked hands.
“This is my boyfriend, Michael Kaiser,” Isagi explained, as the man bowed to them awkwardly.
“Freut mich, Sie kennenzulernen,” Kaiser said.
There was a lot that Issei will have to learn, because he’ll love Isagi no matter what.
