Summary
"Oh, hi, Allie." Dean's voice cut through the night so casually it almost made her laugh.
"Have you seen Garrett? Coach's been trying to reach him all night. Something urgent about next week's game, I think. He's been completely MIA."
He acted as though he was simply passing by. Looking for Garrett. Not rescuing her from her increasingly unsettling ex.
Sean wants answers. Dean simply wants to make sure she gets home safely.

Summary
Jeff moves to London because he has to. Because staying in the US feels like dragging out a joke no one’s laughing at anymore. He tells himself it’s temporary; a practical reset, nothing more. Then he ends up in a too-small flat with Britta Perry, a woman he barely knows and already argues with like it’s second nature.
She’s been here longer. She has a life, or something close enough. A bartending job, a collection of mismatched thrifted furniture, a way of expanding into every space she occupies. She’s easy to fight with and impossible to ignore.
There’s a version of this where they never meet. Another where they tolerate each other. Another where they get it right the first time.
This isn’t any of those.

Summary
"You don't want to celebrate with the guys?" She asked, finally looking right at him.
Dean looked back at her as though the answer should've been obvious.
"The only thing I've wanted since you sent that picture..."
He smiled.
"...is to see it in real life. In my bed, preferably. “Three times Allies sends a "naughty" picture. That's it, that's the whole plot.

Summary
He stared at her, and she felt like she’d been shoved under a spotlight, his focus honing in on all the vulnerability stitched into the fabric of her costume; all the subtext beneath her performance. This wasn’t what they had set out to be. They were meant to be light and breezy comedy show—not a deep, insightful Shakespeare soliloquy. And yet, Allie felt like Dean had picked her every sentence apart, and he was now holding the splinters of her sensitivity.
(Five times Dean cared about Allie, and the one time she accepted that their “arrangement” wasn’t as casual as she’d thought).
