Burning Spice has been alive for thousands of years while dealing with chronic pain. Not even the other beasts know. Golden Cheese invites herself over, and Burning Spice hangs out with her while hiding his pain. Eventually he leaves her alone when the pain gets too bad to hide, but she ends up finding him. Golden Cheese is very concerned but also very confused.
Possible TRIGGERS: Brief suicidal thoughts, self-worth issues

This is for the MooseRef art competition, but can easily be read solo! The prompt was "Acceptance" but Moose confirmed that denial could be a part, and the entire story could be denial. Honestly, you have to read in-between the lines a bit since I don't explicitly ever call it denial or acceptance, but that's the prompt!

Laceless is trying hard to get Emperor to approve of his and Prince's "friendship," not knowing that Emperor already approves and is even being a wingman. Emperor finds this amusing but doesn't stop it, as Prince sometimes sees it and is happy with how his "friend" is trying to stay with him. Prince also doesn't realize that Emperor already approves of them.
Neither Prince nor Laceless realize they have a crush on each other, but Emperor does. And darn it, he wants to see Prince happy.
