"You literally didn't say anything, you were just staring at me," Changbin said, exasperated.
"Oh," Jisung said, sounding amused, "Jagi, are you sure you asked or were you just blinking at him?"
Minho didn't say anything, so Changbin did. "Yes! He was just sitting there blinking at me like a freak!"
"Hey," Jisung said, sounding a bit put out, "Don't call him a freak. He was just trying to tell you he loves you."
"What?!" Changbin sputtered. "How is blinking at me supposed to mean that he loves me?"

Summary
Jisung tried not to lose his temper.
“We heard you were getting special treatment? Must be using kpop money to buy yourself favors.” Park's loud voice carried through the room, the other soldiers turning from their lunch to listen.
“Yeah, I have so much kpop money I can’t spend it fast enough.” Jisung ignored Changbin’s exasperated sigh and continued. “But this time, it was my brain that got me the special assignment. Hard to relate, I know.”
“Oh, my bad,” Park said, nodding. “I see you didn’t bribe anyone, you only needed to get on your knees-"
“You stupid fucker -” Minho stood up so quickly the entire table jerked forward, plates rattling and several drinks spilling. “Say that again.” Minho’s shoulders heaved and his hands were raised, fists closed and stance ready to pounce.
Jisung felt a little turned on, if he was being honest with himself.
Or: If Jisung pretended there weren’t nuclear weapons aimed at Seoul, then he could imagine an alternate world where the North never attacked and no one in Stay Kids had to enlist for several more years, and he and Minho could pick right back up where they left off, the night before everything changed.

Why did Jisung never listen to his friends?
They had told him so many times to stay away from Minho… The wounds on his face, his threatening aura and his cold attitude; their gut feelings just begged them to be careful.
But when Minho started getting harassed by the same students who used to bully him, Jisung could not just watch and do nothing. He had to help him out no matter what.
Not that Minho would ever accept his help, or anything... From anyone.
Ever.

Summary
“You could post a job offer,” Chan grins, stealing a chicken from Minho’s plate. “Now hiring! Hot fake boyfriend to go on cheesy dates with so that I can sell myself as a hopeless romantic and keep my mediocre job at my way too progressive publisher. For more detailed information, please visit www.totallynotaserialkiller.com. You could move the guy to your house! To fully immerse in the boyfriend-experience. But make it an actual job, so you pay for babysi— I mean fake-dating you.”
Minho looks at him like he’s got a pumpkin for a head. “And you think there’s someone desperate enough to accept such a shady offer?"Once-bestselling thriller author Lee Minho's life takes a brand new (and decidedly awful) trajectory when he's tasked to write an erotic novel in order to save his career. Being the living antithesis of a romantic, Minho asks his friends for advice, but it's almost worse than not doing anything. Because let's be honest: hiring a surrogate boyfriend to roleplay his book with is not only a ridiculous idea, but also the recipe for disaster.
