“No,” Cloud mutters under his breath to his invisible parasite, smoothly dodging shoulders and elbows on the crowded street. When the man sitting on the cafe’s veranda pauses, expression confused and butter knife hovering awkwardly in the air, Cloud gives him a brief, tight smile as he passes. “What would I even do with it?”
“Stab him in the eye,” says Sephiroth.
“No.”
“Stab yourself in the eye.”
Cloud snorts. “Do it yourself, coward.”
