Summary
The doctors are finally gone, with their countless questions and confused stares and promises of further tests and examinations.
In the past thirty minutes or so, Pete has heard an extremely annoying amount of words he doesn’t know the meaning of, but in essence it’s pretty simple, actually. He was in a minor car accident, he hit is head pretty hard, and now he’s missing a year of his memories. Will they come back? Maybe. Maybe not.
We need to run some more tests to determine that, Khun Phongsakorn.
“Pete,” Porsche sighs.
But losing his memory isn’t nearly as bad as what he has apparently lost the memory of.
“No,” Pete repeats. “We wouldn’t.”
“You did. I’m sorry. You did.”
“Why? When?!”
Pete’s pretty sure Porsche has already given him the answer for when, but Pete’s brain stopped working the moment it heard the first part of the sentence – You and Vegas broke up.

A minor car accident makes Pete lose his memories of the past year - and of his life apparently being turned upside down.
But something feels terribly wrong. Why would he just break up with Vegas?
He wouldn't, of course.

Summary
Vegas is… okay.
Most of his days are okay now. Some of them are good days. Some of them are great days.
On the okay days, he still gets tired a little too easily and sometimes clutches his side or his chest when Pete isn’t looking, but he’s fine. He’s happy.
On the good days, he cooks and goes on walks and he isn’t in pain.
On the great days, his stamina is endless and he can spend hours doing… various strenuous activities.
Pete likes Vegas’ great days.
But there are bad days, too. Terrible days. Days when Vegas just randomly proclaims that he wants to spend his day watching Netflix, only to fall asleep twenty minutes into the first episode. Well, if he’s lucky. He rarely makes it to ten.

It has been over a year since Vegas got shot, but he's still not back to his old self. What's worse, his body might never recover completely.
It makes Vegas angry. It scares him to death.
It scares him to the point that it makes him lash out at the person who loves him the most, the person who has stayed with him the entire time.
Lucky for Vegas, Pete isn't about to give up on him because of a few stupid words... -

“We’re already married,” Vegas says, clearly enjoying his reaction. Pete should probably chastise him, but he’s a bit smug about their surprise too and Pete is a lot of things but he’s not a hypocrite.
