Nothing about this falsified world ever felt right.
Sure, life sucked IRL. A fake freedom that always came at a cost… financial, emotional, physical.
But at least it was real. A gift not afforded to those in this shithole paint by numbers digital fucking nightmare. Jax had pondered this place, its origins and its host and even now he hadn't even the faintest idea on how or why this place existed. He was sure of one thing though. Cain was not to be trusted. Everyone here must of sat awake at ‘night' driving themselves f*c%i£g crazy over it too. Jax can't be the only one trying to tear clumps out of his digitised vessel. Nothing ever hurt here though. At least not physically.

Summary
When Dib turned 18, he made a deal with his father: he would give up his paranormal research, go off to university, and work at Membrane Labs; in return, he would never have to worry about money ever again. It’s been a few years now, and Dib has completed his side of the deal early. Now he’s stuck working in a sterile, boring laboratory studying whatever it is his father assigns him.
Things come to a head, however, when Dib is knocked overboard while on a marine expedition and is subsequently rescued by an eccentric pair of old men. Soon enough, Dib finds himself spinning a web of lies that leads him to a sleepy town known only as Gravity Falls.
All to study mushrooms of course. Or at least that’s the reason his father thinks Dib is so keen on exploring this small town in the middle of nowhere. No other reason…

Summary
When Hiccup kills his first dragon, he knows his life is going to change - he just thought it would be for the better, at the time. Instead, he finds himself as a passenger in his own body, sharing a mind with the dragon he shot down, burdened with the knowledge that the more time that passes, the more he'll lose himself, becoming one with the Night Fury.
When Jack kills his first dragon, it's a complete accident. An act of desperation: a sword through a wing and a dragon left to die alone in the woods. He didn't even know the dragon had died until its mind slammed into his, wrenching a new form from his body in the middle of his village, nearly killing them in the process. After coming to terms with the Light Fury sharing his mind, he returns home, only to learn that not everyone is quite so accepting.
With no home to go back to, Jack wanders the skies by day and the islands by night. He comes across an isolated island of dragon killers with more than enough to keep him busy, where the chief's son is kind to the Light Fury by day, and where Jack finds a downed dragon who needs his help by night.

Summary
Hello my Queens and Kings and other Esteemed Monarchs, this story is currently undergoing major revisions!! Major in the sense that I decided to do some editing and decided that I didn't entirely like the way i'd written the first few chapters in terms of narration, which led to me changing a couple things around and also adding like 6000+ words to each chapter, which is frankly far too many words. So I'm splitting some chapters up!
However, I'm going to try to actually finish the story before making an official edits to the story here, so!! You have been warned!!
Thanks for sticking with me, I'm in a good run right now so I think i'll be able to finish the story soon!! ish!! pls don't hold me to that, but i;m gonna do my best!!
