Aro - unlike his brothers - likes to leave the piazza on the rare occasion so while on the hunt for his next meal, he caught a whiff of something mouth-watering. The blood didn't sing to him but it did make him ravenous.
It was coming from a young red-headed woman with striking green eyes too ethereal to be entirely human. Aro waited until she was alone when he struck.
He wasn't assaulted with the girl's memories or emotions upon contact - he drank unable to get enough.
"Oi!" The girl was a whirlwind of fiery anger. "Do I look like some bloody fang banger to you?"

The ground slowed in its destruction the closer Abaddon stepped to the glowing crack, Abaddon had already begun floating down, eager to return to his home with his new felt power, ready to reclaim everything he had lost, his body, his status. Abaddon was only able to rejoice in his return of power for mere moments before the cross burned on his chest started glowing, something divine stopping the process of the cults' twisted plans.
Abaddon suddenly stopped glowing, and dropped like a brick into the opened gateway. The ground shuttered again, swallowing Abaddon’s along with its vessel. And quickly closed off, leaving the cult in confusion and the Freelings feeling bittersweet, especially Esther.
( In short: Hell was not brought to earth, Abaddon was brought to hell, while still stuck in his vessel)

The boy, known as Abel, was a lonely child, often left alone at home while his father went to work.
His father, the priest, was a respected man.
He was a radio host who preached sermons over the airwaves and rarely left his radio tower, making that his world.
The priest visited the home every evening, either to check on his son or to butcher his latest hunt.
Each time he skinned and prepared the meat, he played music on his radio, humming along, sometimes quoting proverbs or speaking to the deceased—the godless. He called them that, but Abaddon paid no mind to the fool’s words, always watching the back door and the windows facing the shed, because no boy should ever have to know his father's sins.

But all in all, Harry is doing a great job of pretending to be a Muggle. A great job. Shut up Jasper.
