Summary
No one could say they understood the household dynamics within the witch Qifrey’s Atelier. And Olruggio had to admit he didn’t quite understand it either. But as the girls excitedly prepared for the new addition and Qifrey was becoming more concerned with each passing day, Olruggio couldn’t lie and say he hated it. In fact, he was content here, and happy to bring another life into this small, countryside atelier. If only he could figure out why Qifrey was growing more distant.
(In which Olruggio finds himself pregnant. With the help of Qifrey and the girls, they prepare for the new addition even with the ever looming threat of the brimmed caps and whatever was causing Qifrey pain.)

Summary
Olruggio cannot remember a time Qifrey ever proposed anything that involved intimate touch. Things of that nature were just… they were simply off the table. It had always been like that. Qifrey was — is — very particular about physical contact.
But if that is the case, he wonders what Qifrey is doing, rubbing circles into his shoulders.

Summary
His fright at the thought that Coco might have been in danger when he woke up was heart-stopping. The feeling he had when he thought he’d forgotten one of the simplest spells in his collection was….something else. Like a vice around his throat. A garotte of terror.
Olruggio can't claim to be the picture of perfect health and wellbeing, but things are getting strange. He's forgetting stuff - stuff that he really shouldn't be forgetting. And he doesn't know why.

Olruggio's heart stopped. It was as though the world had tilted beneath his feet, and for one dizzying moment, he forgot how to breathe.
"You smell," Sinocia went on, her voice now so soft it was almost lost to the air between them, "like an abandoned omega."
Or,
Olruggio genuinely believed he stood outside Qifrey's pack, tolerated rather than claimed.
That misunderstanding was long overdue for correction, and Qifrey intended to fix it with the girls' help.
