Shigaraki felt like he was in some horrible dream. He approached the door for the UA entrance exam, a test designed to select for potential heroes. Just seeing the school’s emblem made him scowl. He couldn’t believe he was actually doing this.

All for One sees an opportunity in UA, especially since All Might is a new teacher there, and tasks Shigaraki with infiltrating and gathering information by posing as a student. Shigaraki had never been to school, and he certainly never wanted to attend a hero school. However, for the sake of the mission, he must bite back his tongue and become a hero student.

Tomura is broken by Overhaul, his soul is scattered into tiny shards and what's left of his will is fractured. He can't live if the other is chasing him till the ends of the earth. No one he cares for can. If he wants to do more than survive he is going to have to face the horrors from his past and amend for past mistakes. Maybe along the way he can learn to love himself again, by first caring for the others in his life. Oh Yah, and possibly fall deeply in love with someone along the way.
