During his mission while attending a gala in Fontaine (and very much dressed to kill), Childe unexpectedly runs into a bewildered Zhongli. He decides to have some fun with the ex-Archon just to crack the man’s prim and proper veneer.
Unsurprisingly, he ends up biting off more than he can chew.

In other words, Childe tangos with Zhongli and ends up fighting him (with dance moves that feature high kicks and panty shots in front of a captivated audience). It started when Subaru was telling Beatrice a bedtime story he concocted in the back of his mind. Beatrice though captivated his stories keeps on interrupting him to grill him on the inconsistency. Like why is the colour of the cloak red now when it used to be black. Subaru tired of being corrected had simply elected to write down the story to keep the details consistent. Eh, would probably help in becoming fluent in this world's writing system.
It would have been fine and dandy if Otto didn't barge in clutching his notes, blabbering about how brilliant his stories are and why he should publish them. Subaru had humoured him then not really believing that his book would sell while making fun of Otto's previous record at predicting market values.
Turns out Otto hit the jackpot this time and Subaru's story ended up becoming a hit.
His friends and acquaintances becoming his avid reader much to his embarrassment.

Summary
A semester done and the dust has settled. Life is moving on and dreams are pushed forward. Positions vacant and shoes to be filled. Two months before the third years head off for their internship, a summon was made by Night Raven College’s Headmaster, Dire Crowley.
It was finally time.
Like how the Mirror of Darkness chose the dorm suited for the student, it also chooses the Housewarden most suited to lead the dorm. However, when the stars align and a need calls, the Mirror of Darkness will bring the future Housewardens to the present.
Doubts will be seeded and fear will encroach on those who are never ready. Too bad, time is elastic and no matter what the decision entails, it will always go back to zero.
TLDR: Our lovely first years who had become Housewardens in the future are transported to the current timeline and now the whole NRC population have to deal with these divas who are unfortunately exceptionally good in their duties. Well, a few second and third years could not help but feel gratified at this but maybe there’s a few realizations and healed scars that need to be looked at properly again.
