Enid is distracted and sleep-deprived after having a bad day. She forgets that there is a big support beam in the middle of her dorm room and slams into it, hurting her foot in the process. Fortunately, her roommate (and maybe slightly more) is a light sleeper. A little hurt-comfort self-projecting piece I wrote after my own little klutzy toe injury.

On December 31st, 2013--NYE--Mac and Dick bump into each other in a dive bar. They start talking, reluctantly at first, then discover they are enjoying each others' company. Sexy time ensues, but outside of that, nothing develops. Fast forward to December 31st, 2014 and they meet up again at the same bar, on purpose this time. More sexy times ensue. That leads to more encounters, but they are too stubborn to realize that there's more to their relationship than just a "naked friendship." You can't always see what's right in front of your eyes the whole time.

Summary
Mac is injured watching her brother play baseball, and when she wakes up she finds that she's living the life she was always "meant to have" as Madison Sinclair. Some chapters (most chapters) will be from Mac's point of view, and the timeline will skip around a bit as she goes back to high school as Madison. The first chapter is "present time," present being 2009, on the third anniversary of Cassidy's suicide. Dick's POV will cover the present time, detailing what is going on with Mac's injuries, dealing with LoVe reuniting drama, learning more about Mac's life, etc. This is very much AU.

Enid eyed the piece of paper curiously, squinting as she read aloud. “Ophelia Hall Roommate Agreement…”

“Yes, actually, several, including the lack of pink marker but we’ll get to that later.”OR
For Wednesday and Enid, their second year at Nevermore promises mystery and drama galore, and now that Enid has wolfed out, she’s feeling better than ever. However, her newly unlocked lupine abilities cause Wednesday to turn to the law, or her version of it anyway. Yet imagine Wednesday’s surprise when she begins to agree to concessions that she never would have contemplated before Enid Sinclair came into her life.

Summary
Wednesday had never had romantic feelings for another person. She didn’t know how to show it in a way that Enid was worthy of.
Enid believed in a great love.
Enid believed in fairytale romance, magical happy endings. She wanted to be swept off of her feet, she wanted her to be kissed and held and supported.
Wednesday could barely do one of those things.
The thought of it all was terrifying, because Enid deserved the grand fairytale that she wanted, and Wednesday wasn’t sure that she could give it.
And Wednesday herself, her whole being, felt like some sort of contradiction. She hated touch with a burning passion, but oh, how she missed Enid’s embrace. How she found herself wanting to be held, wanting to bury her face into Enid’s throat and to never move away. She craved the woman’s warmth, her scent, her soft hands, she had never wanted a person in the way that she wanted Enid, oh so very badly.
She decided that she could start small.
One day she would give Enid the magical romance she wanted, but for now she just needed to take it one step at a time.
