He won't speak, he hardly eats anything and something just isn't right Banner." Thor's angry, desperate-sounding words in the infirmary on the Statesman. Thor didn't know how to react. Loki was next to him in the first moment, says that the enemy ship's people are there because of him and showing him the stolen Tesseract from Asgard's vault, next he tells him he loves him and is gone. What was he missing?
aka: Loki was struck after Thanos' ship was destroyed, leaving him unconscious for weeks. And when Thor's brother finally woke up, he had forgotten more than the last 5 years. Set back shortly after falling off the Bifrost, Loki tries to understand everything, including why his brother broke the promise they made to each other. And why, despite everything, he had followed him after Asgard was destroyed, knowing that Thor broke the promise.

Summary
If you had told Geralt a year ago that he would soon find his soul mate, he would have smiled slightly and declared you insane. He would also have emphasized that there was no such thing for Witcher. They were killing machines, themselves beasts fighting others, only they looked human - but they weren't. Not to mention they took money for their services.
In short, all things considered.
There were no soul mates for Witchers. How wrong he was…Or in Jaskier's words.
He knew that his soul mate was waiting for him out there, young, quite naive but adventurous, so he went out to find him. Especially since his father had told him he was a witcher, Jaskier at least had a limitation to work with. So it was only a matter of time before he found him, good thing he had plenty of time.
