Summary
Saving Arcadia Bay was the hardest decision that Max Caulfield ever made and it is very nearly one that she *didn't* live with until an entirely unexpected guardian angel came into her life and helped her make a future. Along the way, she found that the strangeness of life was not hers to bear alone.
This is a fic I've been slowly writing to show who Max Caulfield became after Life is Strange and how she became entangled with the protagonists of the other games in the fanchise.

In the aftermath of the victory over the first Death Star, the Rebel Alliance experienced a surge of recruitment of all sorts. With the extra manpower and resources, it was possible to replace Blue Squadron, which had been wiped out on the Battle of Scariff. However, the question was: Replace it with what? Red (Rogue) Squadron were the best fighter-interceptor squadron in the Rebellion; did they really need an identical establishment? Instead, High Command began building preparations for a more flexible force, inspired by Blue Squadron's exploits.
This is the story of what, in most worlds would be a band of misfits and how they affected the galaxy's history.
Few canon characters will be involved except in cameos. No Space Wizards, at least not at first.

Summary
So, with Coming of Age written, here is the promised and long-delayed short stories collections. Mostly, these will be single-character focus stories set in the world outside Riley's head but will, sometimes, include the voices of her emotions. After finally finishing at High School, Riley is head-hunted by a number of colleges who want to bring her fearsome Ice Hockey skills to their own teams for the seasons ahead. Riley has to meet those expectations whilst still maintaining her own longer-term goals, the most important of which is building a long-term future for herself and her girlfriend, Melodie Toii. She also has to confront how time may have altered some of her past dear friendships.
Joy hoped that college wouldn't be much of a challenge; she couldn't have been more wrong!

Summary
How did we get from the end of Life is Strange Season 1 to Double Exposure? Just what happened to Chloe and Max's relationship in the 'Bae' (Sacrifice Arcadia Bay) ending. This work, which is partly inspired by the lore reveals in the Early Access version of the game on 10/15/2024, seeks to address that question as well as how the 'Bay' timeline (Sacrifice Chloe) about which we know almost nothing became synchronised again in Max's life. It also suggests one possible responsible person for the death that is central to the plot of the game.
