Summary
The first time Sherlock saw John shift was in Baskerville Research Facility. He had locked him in to test a theory, and instead of causing a reaction in the drug he suspected was the culprit, he activated a high pitched, experimental signal used to out and control Shifters.
Thus he’d solved the case.
And in the process discovered a deep, underground world.

Summary
Connor’s head was a mess of thoughts, from the fact that he could have ruined all their efforts with just a pull of a trigger because he wasn’t truly deviant, to the fact that he could have made the android from Carlos Ortiz’ house feel like this. If he hadn’t played the game well enough then it would have been the android’s fingers that were itching for the press of a gun against his temple, ready to stop the short-circuiting and the stress-inducing codes and orders that overrode each other.

I always learn neat shit from this fandom, I wonder if it’s specifically bc androids… seems like it.
This was a well done set of vignettes. There were a few point the implied or referenced information wasn’t clear enough to me and had me pause to wonder if it was saying something, establishing something, placed as a metaphor… but for the most part, it was successful in what vignettes are supposed to be; somewhat disjointed and ethereal snapshots of story.
Soft and sweet, no heart wrenching conflicts (though some existential stuff that’s quickly soothed).

Summary
Markus and Leo, teenage boys not known for getting along at the best of times, have been feeling the strain of their father's newest art exhibit, so Carl pulls them out of the gloom of Detroit and into a resort hotel in Florida during summer break.
Hank, adoptive father to Connor -- a sophomore in high school with more than one foster family horror story under his belt -- just wants to take his new son on a real vacation, so he enters and somehow wins a giveaway at his work for an all-expenses-paid two-week stay for a family of up to 4 at a private resort on the west coast of Florida.

Summary
Markus is a vampire who volunteers at a clinic for abused, at-risk, and in-need vampires in Detroit named Jericho. He, alongside regular volunteers North, Simon, and Josh -- also vampires -- make up the Jericho Coven (any close friend/support group comprising mostly of vampires). After closing out several cases against abusive sires (those who turn others without their consent and/or without proper care afterwards), Markus believes their work is done for the time being and that he can have a brief respite from finding feral vampires on the streets.
Unfortunately (or, for those it affects, very fortunately), he's a magnet for troubled vampires, including one rather mysterious feral wandering the streets for seemingly-impossible lengths of time.
