    The morning of his fourth birthday Izuku woke up to a pop-up from his quirk telling him he had a quest to let no one know he had a quirk at all. When he failed the quest he reset back to when it was first given...but that wasn't his only quest.

    Some of the quests he was given might have seemed strangely useless at the time (why did Eraserhead need a cat?) but always turned out to be useful later on. (If only his quirk would stop trying to mess with his social life!)

    Follow along as his quirk forces him to change the future, one quest at a time.

    Midoriya Izuku never got One For All. He never went to UA, and yet, somehow, the world persisted despite that, and he'll never know how incredible of a feat that is. It's been six years since the final war arc, and now Izuku is working some dead-end job just trying to make his mom's medical bills stop from piling up, and planning his suicide.

    He thinks he knows his place in the world, and after having it beaten into your head for so long, who wouldn't? But after an attack on his commute home from work, his life will take a drastic shift, and maybe, he can understand that there will always to be something to live for, even if he didn't pursue heroism.

    It didn't take long after the events of the Sanctuary for Subaru to find himself unable to fall asleep. Things between him and his contracted spirit were going well, but as unfortunate as it was, the adorable spirit didn't have a magic spell to cure insomnia.

    The exhaustion and struggles born from the lack of sleep, along with the shame of bothering everyone else with it, made him choose a way out he normally wouldn't have ever considered.

    Peaceful nights is all he asks for, I suppose!
