Nathaniel Wesninski was too young when he was covered in his mother's blood, watching her body burn to cinders on the California beachside. His father's arm rests on his shoulder; there is a cleaver in his hand, a cruel reminder of what he has done.
A decade later, he stands in a cold, dark room, cleaver in hand, staring down at the splattered body bag below him. Evermore awaits him, once his job is done. The Butcher's resemblance has never been more evident than it had been then.
Nathaniel realises, in hindsight, it had all made sense.

Summary
Dazai thought it would be a good idea to attend this summer camp-summer school program that his High School set up-- the idea was for him to stay at the camp all summer so he could earn lost credits, since he was at risk of being held back a third time. The guy was 17 going on 18 and still only a second year.
Well, that was his school counselors plan when he sent Dazai to the camp, not his.
Dazai had a different idea. All he wanted was a place to stay so he can get away from Mori-- his legal gaurdian, and an absolute asshole. There was just no way he was spending another three months alone with Mori.
And while he came to the camp to get away from Mori, he met someone he just couldn't seem to get away from.
Stuck to this poor guy like glue, Dazai began to slowly fall in love with a stupid ginger he swore he'd seen somewhere before.
