Night had long since fallen and there was stillness and quiet in the air. Two had almost turned in for the night when they heard a knock at the door.
"Mephone4? It's so late!" They pretended to grumble as they opened it to see a slightly shell-shocked looking guest. "Did you have another nightma..."
Their voice trailed off when they saw the egg carried in Mephone4's arms. Their eyes travelled upwards to meet Mephone's.
"I threw up." Mephone said, and fainted into Two's arms.OR

Summary
Tracey and Quinn have been traveling on their own for almost a year, and it’s been challenging to say the least.

Years ago, Stan Pines died under strange circumstances. His body was found, funerals happened, Pa was too ashamed to show up, Shermie too busy, Ma went... so did Ford...
And Ford learned a lot while at the funerals, more than he would have liked to. Like the fact his brother lived out of his car, of all places... At least, the car gave him a way to summon his brother's spirit, to talk one last time! Or it should have. It never worked... Ford kept the car anyways, for old times' sake.
In other news, a little over 30 years later, 13 year old Mabel Pines came back to Gravity Falls a year after her brother stayed back there for an "apprenticeship" with their great uncle Ford or whatever... Meaning she was alone to face their parents' divorce. And even now, her brother ignored her for his "anomalies". No big deal. None at all... Not at all the reason why she tried to leave the home at 1 am, only to be met with a homeless-looking ghost with no memories who decided to haunt her.
At least the nameless ghost is a good friend to prank Gravity Falls with!
