He asked, leaning in to sniff deeply at William's neck, who was now also able to smell him back. This alpha was like wind, like freedom, like bad decisions that took you in the moment and never gave you back.
Mohawk pulled back and William saw his eyes slit and change into a liquid golden color, and William had no doubt his own eyes mirrored that look. Shit.
They were true mates.
"Oh?" Mohawk smiled wide, sharp canines glinting. "It is just for me, isn't it?" He let out an uninhibited laugh and William was floored. This was his True Mate? The person who would complete him? This couldn't be right.
But he relaxed almost against his will, the scent the other pumped out raw and feeling so much like a dream, he swayed on his feet a little. Oh, right.
He was nearing his heat.
