    Peter hasn’t left New York since Germany.
    Since Siberia.
    It leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
    Leaving New York?
    Never goes well for him.
    Going on field trips?
    Always ends badly.
    At the same time?
    Putting them together feels like a recipe for disaster.
