   Summary

   Simon's last wish as his consciousness faded was for Eden and the consequences of the Quiet Rapture were to have never occured. He's not sure where he'd ended up but it had given him enough time to process some of what the hell just happened.

   Meanwhile, aboard the Hail Mary, Grace and Rocky were parsing out Grace's food problem after a stroke of good luck while digging through storage, when a mysterious Blip appeared on the ship's radar.

   Summary

   Iron Lung crossover with Project Hail Mary because I discovered this and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I've never had such a strong urge to write fan-fiction. I've only watched these movies, but soon I'll be reading Project Hail Mary. My science may also be... bad, but I promise I'll try to make it as good as I can manage.
   This is set after Simon (The Convict) mutates and he survives (obviously because otherwise how would Simon and Grace meet). Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid after Grace goes to save Rocky from the Xenonite-adapted Taumoeba, and they enter a dead zone on their journey. No stars, no light, and uneasiness fills them as they realize that some stars had already been consumed. They detect a strange moon, static-y distress signals transmitting from a ship on this moon. They encounter a terrible scene upon connecting with the ship, and Grace finds something unexpected.
