Half the time, Shane can’t tell if the man hates him, fears him, or is losing his damn mind. Probably all of them, all the time. The other half of the time, Ilya watches him like he’s waiting for Shane to spring a trap. News flash: there isn’t one.
Shane doesn't have any inkling of what he’s doing. He’s never shared space with another human being before. Let alone an omega who doesn't understand personal space. As the walls crack between them, Shane notices things he never questioned before. He realizes there is something deeply troubling in the world he grew up in.
