When the world went to shit Negan was at Grady Memorial Hospital, he thought it had been a godsend. His wife was sick, and being at a hospital that was still running was a dream come true. When she died regardless of the medical help Negan became stone cold, he knew the world was changing and he had to become as hard and dark as possible to survive.
Daryl and Beth have escaped the prison, when the church they are staying at becomes over run with the dead they escape only to come face to face with three of Negan's top men from Grady and learn their lives are no longer their own.
They are to serve, or become walker chow.

Rick crouched down, the leather of his duty belt creaking softly in the silence of the inner circle.
