祂们和人类的长相无异，甚至如果愿意的话，你也可以把祂们直接看作是人类。祂们贪图爱意，对爱的感受是必要的养分来源。爱人是祂们稳定的培养皿；当双方出于各种原因不再满足，大概率就会换一个新的爱人，开启一段全新的双向喂食。
——一般情况下。当然我们都知道有灵魂存在的地方就有反叛与例外，人类里有疯子，嗜爱兽里也有傻瓜。
比如有这么一位，曾三次声名远扬。
第一次是他在濒临饿死时仍握紧所谓爱人的手，第二次是将爱人转化为嗜爱兽后险些让对方饿死。
至于第三次，大概是在很多年后被发现，两个人都还活着，营养状况良好。当然，只是在嗜爱兽群体里声名远扬。用人类的视角来解释，似乎只是两个人各生过一场大病罢了。医疗手段毕竟发达。
不过嗜爱兽没有医生，只有爱人和自己。
