Monster Hunter AU where Claus is alive but is lost and has no memories about his past, Ninten is grumpy 24/7 but has a dream, Lucas is trying his best (and is an ecoterrorist to some degree) and Ness can't turn down a quest.I’m pretty sure not so many people at EB/Mother fandom had played Monster Hunter, so I’ll be making notes at chapter’s endings just to clarify few details unless I deem them of no much importance or will explain them later on in the very fic, also will add a little extra info about certain monsters I mention only for better context and comprehension of the whole MH universe.

But oh no, who is that ginger gardener that takes of all the gardens in the hospital? Is it him or suddenly it is very hot? And why is Ana smiling at him like that? What does she know that he doesn’t? Oh shit, the gardener caught him staring!

The daily life of Lucas couldn't be more normal, he was your regular defence lawyer. Like anyone in his profession he juggled his work, with his family life. It was all normal if you asked him, like boringly normal. He defended his clients; he helped raise his brother's daughter (taking the role of mother in the process). Oh! and of course, he directly advised and helped the super-secret and important task force of the police department to track down and take down any dangerous activity related to the mysterious king of the criminal underground world Giygas.
Everything was very normal, until he discovered the true identity of Giygas and he was sent to a different dimension. Now with Giygas’s promise that his family is in danger weighting on his mind, Lucas must travel this new dimension while being courted by two very handsome people! What a life, eh?

Yes, right. Life was not the best, it was shit, a cruel unforgiving lady that even now it wasn’t any kinder, that sadistic whore enjoyed to see suffering through one’s bloodened eyes, however, certainly life had turned a little more bearable (or for the ginger at the very least) when a certain space boy showed up and stumbled upon the redhead’s life one fateful night.
-----“Modern” AU I couldn’t get my brain to stop bothering with in which life is terrible, the boys are there (in endless suffering), Ness is an alien nerd, Lucas is paranoid, Claus is 100% done with everyone’s shit and Ninten was raised by Giegue.
