He aims, his grip on the gun so tight it was starting to hurt his hand. Daniel—in all the years he's been doing this job, with all the people he's met, is the only person Buck ever liked. Because he could trust him, because he had heart. And Buck was about to, or at least trying to kill him for it.
"Fuck." Buck groans with frustration only aimed at himself.
He doesn't shoot.
He holsters his gun, watches Daniel open his eyes and then turns to the side. Buck puts his hands behind his head and tries to think of someplace he could go where the other would be safe.
