Summary
When Jason died, Bruce immortalized on paper what grief refused to let him utter out loud, lest his loss become final and his defeat become permanent
Years later, a revived Jason would find those books and slowly piece together the shattered fragments of who his father was before he lost him, while reckoning with the fact that he was loved in every right way (and it had not saved him... and perhaps, it was never meant to)
And Bruce now has to reflect whether or not his inability to reconcile with uncontrollable changes in his son is brought upon by strategic bitterness or fear (or both, if god would allow it)
Because ultimately, there is no version of their family's story where one is totally in the right or wrong. There is only love; ugly, misguided, but honest, true love between people who are doing the very best they could.

“Come on, are you really gonna kebab me over a little siesta?” Wade asks with a heavy sigh.He makes no move to get out of Logan's bed, so he grabs the idiot by the throat, dragging him to his feet. Wade grunts and kicks at him a little, but mostly he just laughs. He can’t take anything seriously. The little shit should be fucking scared. Logan can’t stand his stupid smirking mouth.
“Only time I want you in my bed is when you’re face down, ass up. Got it?”
“Can—can I get back in bed if I agree to—your terms and conditions?” Wade chokes out.
Still making jokes. Barely breathing, red faced and wheezing with weak laughter, Wade infuriates Logan in a way he can’t fucking describe. So he yells and jabs his claws into Wade’s side, then lets go of his throat to extend his other set and drive them in, too. Wade jerks and spits up blood, but his smile only falters for a second.
Logan wishes he could say it stops there, but it doesn’t.

Wade looked at him, his heart racing. He knew he couldn't keep this from Logan forever, especially if he was going to keep writing in that diary. "Okay, fine. It's not actually sexy, smutty poetry," he admitted, pulling the diary out from behind his back. "But you are right. It is about you."
Logan's expression grew serious, his hand resting lightly on Wade's shoulder. "What's going on, Wade?"

“I dunno, wouldn’t want you to get the wrong impression,” he reached out to rub his fingers across the silver fastenings on Wade’s corset-vest, “think a fancy dinner and some flowers can get you into my pants whenever you want.”
Wade leaned in even further, his lips barely brushing Logan’s cheek as he replied.
“Promise I’ll still respect you in the morning.”
“Well in that case, handsome,” Logan slid his knee between Wade’s thighs, wrapping a hand around his fancy silk tie and tugging. “Take me to bed and disrespect me tonight.”

Something paws at his thoughts like an insistent ex-boyfriend, Wade’s powerless to do anything but let them- it, whatever – in.
He feels so woozy and detached from his body. Thoughts melting into a spiral down the drain, pulling the entire universe through with them. There are flashes of himself playing in front of his eyes; his bloody, stabbed through body in that godforsaken Honda Odyssey -- then the visuals hard cut to Logan’s crazed grin underneath him. Crimson with blood, and way too excited considering baby knife was lodged deep in his ribcage.
Wade feels partially himself, and partially like Logan. For a brief moment their minds are intertwined as deeply as their fingers.
In which the time ripper gives Logan and Wade a telepathic link, which is weird enough on its own. Everytime they touch, there's a brief moment where Logan is Wade, and Wade is Logan. (And everytime they kiss, they swear they can fly.)
