However, his life gets a lot more chaotic when he meets Chan. It doesn't take long for their relationship to become complicated as the scary but beautiful stranger lets him forget about his godly calling bite by bite.

(photo)Her photo fills half his screen. The mirror she posed in front of has specks of dust on the glass. That’s how high the resolution is. He could count the freckles on her naked shoulder.
Felix is wearing those tights, paired with a skirt he hasn’t seen her in yet and nothing else. She’s kneeling on a carpet and the curve of her ass is prominent enough to make the skirt useless, though it doesn’t distract from how her arm is covering her bare tits. He can see just the hint of a nipple. The flare of the flash on her phone covers her face, but Chan knows it’s her.
When he’s alone again, he pulls the e-mail up on his phone, saves the picture and hides it in a private folder. Then he deletes all three e-mails Felix sent and takes a deep, shaky breath.
Chan is half hard in his slacks and he locks the door of his office before unbuckling his belt.

Summary
It’s so quiet in the war room that you could hear a pin drop. Not a single person dares to say a word - not even the favored princes - and all eyes remain fixed on the head of the table, where a large figure sits hunched over in its chair, clutching the latest newsreel between two massive fists.
Having been forewarned of some of the contents of said newsreel, Sanji does his best to keep anything from showing on his face, to maintain his expression in an implacable facade. He thinks he largely succeeds in controlling himself outwardly, but inwardly his gut is churning with emotion.
The newsreel twitches, and the five people not holding the paper sit up a little straighter in their seats, each of them bracing for impact without actually meaning to as slowly, oh so slowly, the paper is lowered down until it’s resting flat on the table.
“Well,” Judge says, his mouth working like he wants to spit. “This is certainly an … unexpected development.”

Left with only three other crew mates, it’s a ready expectation that Sanji will start fawning all over Robin in his usual obnoxious way. However, that’s not what happens. Instead, looking wild around the eyes in a way only someone who knows him well would recognize, the cook doesn’t break stride until he’s firmly within Zoro’s orbit and can wrap both hands around his upper arm, clinging tight.
“Hi, darling,” he chirps, his expression desperately conveying that Zoro needs to play along under pain of death. “Did you miss me?”

His mother always makes him promise this. Felix has not kept this promise in many moons, and this is also a truth he cannot share with her.
"I promise," he says anyway. "I will stick to the shadows."
People always say it is safer to move through shadows in the Dark Wood, so the shadows conceal you, keep you out of the light, keep you hidden from predators, prevent you from being prey.
Felix is far from prey, in the Dark Wood, but he doesn't tell his mother that, either.

Chan took two steps toward him, guiding him toward the palace and up the spiral staircase leading up to the terrace. He knelt at the younger prince’s feet. Felix felt the entire world disappear, leaving just the two of them in this paradise. “Prince Felix of House Lee. I vow to you that as long as I am of this world, you will never want for anything again. You will never know discomfort, or displeasure. You come from a land that is cruel and unkind and I wish to erase all of that from your mind and body. I wish to raise our children, both in Sunspear and here, so they know that their father was so in love with his dragon prince, that he was willing to build an ocean to provide him rest.”
Once he rose from his knees, all Felix could do in response was kiss him silly.
