Summary
When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

I RLLY LIKED THIS! Snape is injured and end up on harrys doorstep, so he finally sees harrys true home life and stuff. And here harry actually learns occlumency and is rllyg ood at it, and him and snape become closer and closer and its rlly sweet! Its got a prefect mix of action, sweetness, drama and sadness. Nobody is oerfect in this fic, and thats what makes it so good

RAHHHHH WHAT DO YOU MEAN ONLY 11 CHAPTERS AND IT HASNT BEEN UPDATED SINCE 2024 IM GONNA CRY.
I LOVED THIS SO MUCH IT WAS CRAZY AND THERE WAS JUST SO MUCH VAULNERABILITY BETWEEN SNAPE AND HARRY. I WANNA SHED TEARS T-T
But fr this was so good. Writing imoeccable, storyline amazing.(This is the one where instead of going to grimmauld after sirius’s death in fifth year, he goes with snape because the order has a «traitor» and theyre on the eund for like two months. And towards the end its revealed that snape actually kidnapped him because he didnt want him to die. So he tried taking him away from dumbles.) its rlly beautiful

Summary

After he accidentally blew up his aunt, he wasn’t able to escape from the Dursleys and things just took a turn for the worse. Summary
Harry is removed from the Dursley family when he is eight years old, and enters the wizarding world a few years younger and a lot wiser. He discovers a surprising dark heritage, and develops goals that do not involve vanquishing a certain Dark Lord or becoming the Chosen One. Adopted into the Black family, Harry will fight against the expectation that he is to defeat the Dark Lord and instead dedicates himself to protecting the dark legacy that has been left to him.
