Summary
A city named Calisto was situated on the moon of a Gas Giant on the outer reaches of the Milky Way. A recent development has left the poor and neglected people of Calisto in the loving vines of the Affini Compact. A year later and rebuilding efforts are nearly complete. Old, run down buildings were replaced, Hab units replaced the shacks, and every sophont was given what they needed. Whether that was food and rest, or a collar around their cute little necks.
An old block of apartments and storefronts is next up for repair and reconstruction. An Affini, named Antirrhinum Wyverna, has chosen to do the final sweep and clear before the buildings are taken down. Hopefully no sophonts have been hiding out in these horrid conditions.

Summary
Leviathan was much worse than in canon, and Taylor and Lisa are left trying to pick up the pieces of their lives and city in the aftermath.
The overall impetus of this fiction is that I really liked the warlord Skitter days, and kinda' wanted a version of things where they just didn't stop? And then I started writing it and it came out way gayer than I had expected, and I liked that.

It started as a one-off. Mary had washed his hair when he was sick, after laying in bed for days all alone. He melted into her touch almost immediately as her hands carded through his wet hair. Her soft hands messaging soap into his back. Fingers going further and further down. Caressing his waist. Holding his wrist in a firm but gentle grasp as she scrubbed each individual finger. At one point the pads of her thumbs swiped past the sensitive pink buds on his chest.
He blamed the resulting mess on the lack of physical touch he’s had for the last week.
The way she smiled and gently cleaned his… areas… didn’t help, either.
