I'm still really sad about the WOTFI ending because I imagined a different conclusion for these two gay men.

A desolate wasteland of a war torn plain stretches out amongst the ivory skies, meanwhile the sparks and ash fly in the late summer air. A soldier created artificially by an unknown power finds himself wandering in the ravaged countryside, bleeding out and not alone, accompanied by his only friend. The heavens above open up, and he finds himself acquainted with a saturnine seraphim from above.Things escalate from there, and they find themselves in the midst of things they don’t understand but wish to try.
