“Well, screw those guys. We’re not knocking the celebration, are we?”
“Celebration?” Aziraphale’s mind was blank. Was it a special occasion?
“Ah, you always forget! It’s October 21st.”
Aziraphale’s eyes widened. “Right!” he exclaimed suddenly with a smile. It was Creation Day. None of the other angels had ever celebrated it, or even marked the occasion with anything other than the centennial acknowledgment. Today was the day the Earth was born.
