Summary
For the past two years, Omori has repeated the same adventure over and over again. Basil goes missing, he and his friends try to find him, they all get distracted by some wacky side characters, his friends all vanish one by one, he goes into black space and finds Basil, finally, he suppresses the truth. After all that, the cycle begins again, with only the occasional deviation between different cycles.
Most people might think Omori would hate how repetitive it all was, but they would be completely mistaken. Not only did Omori not hate the repetitive nature of his life, he loved it. Repetitiveness meant familiarity, familiarity meant safety, and safety was the only thing Omori truly desired out of his life.
So with all that said, Omori wouldn’t be pleased if instead of going on his usual adventure, he woke up in a mountain full of monsters who wanted to steal his soul. He would actually be quite angry if that ever happened.
Fortunately for him, the cycle would never change that much… right?
