Sirius perked up at that, turning back to James. “Yes! On Christmas Eve, we could—“
“No.” Remus cut in, voice stern. He wasn’t a ‘big party’ kind of person. James and Sirius were notorious for their parties, and just once Remus wanted a calm week. His reservations, of course, didn’t mean Sirius wasn’t going to try though.
“Moony, come on, you promised to celebrate with us.” Sirius practically whined.
“Absolutely fucking not.”
Sirius shifted to look at Remus, sitting with his legs crossed on the end of Remus’ bed. He looked up at him with wide eyes, fingers reaching almost hesitantly to play with the hem of Remus’ sweater. “Please?” He asked.
They didn’t talk about it, but all of them knew Sirius had some sort of sway over Remus. He could never find it in himself to really say no if Sirius asked. Remus knew it was over even before Sirius grinned in triumph.

Sirius watched Remus with a fond but exasperated look. “I’ve been ready to go.” He said. “Everything’s already been packed in the car.” He looked around at Remus’ set up, before turning back to him, a puzzled look on his face. “What were you doing out here, anyway?” Sirius asked, to which Remus gestured to the stars. Sirius raised a brow.
Remus turned to look back out with him, letting out a long breath. “I was thinking about the night of our first kiss.”
Sirius chuckled lightly, a nostalgic smile on his face. “Our first kiss? That night was crazy.” -

James, excitable as Sirius’ had ever seen a person be, lit up. “Sirius.” He mulled it over for a second. “I like it. Are you excited for club rush? I hope they’re bringing back some old groups this year.”
Sirius’ perked up at that. “What kinds of clubs?”
