Summary
Having lost or lost track of the rest of the SDU over the years Takumi scrapes by alone as a soldier for hire. He's been asked by some locals to deal with a terrifying monster that kills anyone who goes too far up into the mountains. He'll be due a hefty reward for dealing with it, but when he finds his quarry, it's none other than Eito Aotsuki, who is supposed to have been dead for years.
He finds that despite everything, he still doesn't want to kill the three time traitor and last remaining member of his old team.

Summary
Despite her best effort, making it to the end with all 17 members of the SDU alive wasn't enough to finally break free of the Cursed Cycle. After who knows how many more loops, including a decade serving the Rebellion before her untimely death, Hiruko finally realized the glaring flaw in her previous plan of escape: she hadn't accounted for the lives of the others who bore the Divine Blood.
It wasn't enough just to save themselves, she has to ensure the safety of their enemies as well.
With a new plan of action and finally reaching another timeline with 100% survival potential, she pulls Takumi and Eito into her schemes, hoping that their involvement in the original Steady Fundamentals timeline would mean letting them in on some of her secrets will make them assets and not liabilities. As long as she can keep everything under control, that shouldn't be a problem... but unfortunately for her, her teammates have these pesky things called free will and personal agendas so trying to keep things running smoothly is rather like herding cats.

It's a few years into the Rebellion, and things can still be pretty tense around Eito Aotsuki. Tsubasa can never tell what he's thinking, but she's pretty sure she's on his shit list for dating the guy he's obviously in love with. She mostly just tries to keep her distance and stay professional with him.
One day when everyone but her and Eito are away from the academy, a bomb hidden in a supply delivery goes off as she's running maintenance on the Revive-o-Matic...

Eito follows Takumi out onto the stage, as is his social duty as his adjutant. If he just doesn't look at the writhing masses below, if he breathes only through his mouth, he can survive this. He would make it through. And... if he could, then this evening, he could bully Takumi into praising and thanking him for his service. It was truly the least the General could do for dragging him out in public like this, knowing how miserable it makes him.
Unfortunately, all thoughts of that thoroughly derail the moment he takes his first step into the spotlight to a horrifying, ear-splitting chorus of screams rising from the gathered audience.
(Eito Aotsuki very suddenly comes to terms with the fact that he has fans among the Futuran youth.)

Summary
Takumi never quite seems to be able to see eye to eye with Eito, even though they work together every day. He's so grateful for the help he just wishes he could pay his adjutant back somehow. One day, he gets it into his head that maybe he'd be able to actually cure that awful curse Eito's afflicted with using the Dolmenic Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy machine back at the first academy! His excited offer does NOT go over well and he doesn't quite understand why... but now he needs to patch things up between them. The only question is how?
