Summary
Geralt is contracted to clear out a den of sexual horror. Succubus and Incubus have banded together and stolen humans to keep as sexual slaves, killing others and causing chaos.
But when Geralt stumbles over a young man who is only part Incubus he can't make himself kill it. He takes Jaskier on the road with him to keep an eye on him. And then he tries very hard to convince himself that he doesn't want to be the only person Jaskier ever has to feed on.

“Oh the truth is much less exciting, sweetling.” The Fae hummed, grip tightening to border on painful “You were stolen from me as a babe. Hidden away in the human realm.” Jaskier’s breath stuck in his throat. “It took me ages to find you again, dear heart. Only to find you trailing after a Witcher of all things. Barbaric beings.” The fae huffed, grip loosening and fingers resuming their idle stroking. “And when he wished you away, well.” Jaskier swallowed around the lump in his throat.
“You’re saying that I’m what?” He managed to scrape out past the hurt he felt at the mere mention of Geralt. “A changeling?”
“No, you’re not an exchanged child.” The fae tilted his chin up urging Jaskier to look at him. “You’re my child.”
“Fuck.”Or:
“If life could grant me one wish, it would be to take you off my hands.” Geralt says ‘wish’ instead of ‘blessing’. A difference so simple, so innocuous, It shouldn’t have mattered. Except that it did.

Summary
For hundreds of years Jaskier has been roaming the continent, as a winter fae he has gone by many names: Julian, Jaskier, Dandelion, and most famously Jack Frost. He became a bard to avoid those pesky human attachments, and so he lived among the humans sharing his music and using his wits to fool those around him. That is until he meets Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher and they travel together.
So, when Geralt after knowing the bard after so many years he invites Jaskier to Kaer Morhen for the winter season. Jaskier faces a treacherous dilemma, having not only having to hide his chaos from Geralt, but several other Witchers in the keep. As the snow begins to fall, he can't stay in his human form for much longer. He has to make a decision: survival or keeping his secret that could very well shatter the bond he vowed to never form.
