Summary

What was supposed to be a gathering of diplomacy and alliance among the blood elves and the Nightborne has become a show of speed dating for Kael'thas Sunstrider, and he is not particularly thrilled. Set between Legion and Battle for Azeroth, Kael'thas stumbles upon Grand Magistrix Elisande in an AU where she somehow isn't dead. Originally submitted for The Purple Parlor's Speed Dating event where I chose to write Kael'thas and randomly got Elisande.

In an attempt to get her to take some time away, Khadgar shoos her off to a conference and sends equally brilliant colleague Kael'thas Sunstrider with her. The two have a rocky history both personally and professionally, making a trip she already didn't want to go on any easier. But when a conveniently inconvenient circumstance at the hotel puts them together in the same room for the night, the two end up sharing their true feelings....and maybe a bed.
