Summary
“I could devour you,” Samiel says gently, and Jay can feel the heat of his words sinking into his translator. “Won't you let me, pretty human? I'd make it ever so good for you.” His voice is intimate, filthy; that of a lover. Of a predator that has caught its prey.
Or:
Wing Commander Jason Lane is doing his best. He's got a political coup to stop; a peace treaty to negotiate; half a planet out to kill him and - oh yes, Samiel.
Always, Samiel.

Summary
Oliver sat at the table he’d booked in Quo Vadis, checking the time on his fob, then looking at his messages, making sure – once again – that he hadn’t got the time wrong. No, they had agreed to meet at half past seven. It was now ten to eight. And he hadn’t heard anything from his ‘date’.
Oliver contemplated the very real possibility that he’d been stood up. His dating life was, admittedly, something of a disaster, but he’d never actually been stood up before. He looked down at his hands, trying to tell himself it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. It would be a story. 'How did it go?' His friends would text him tomorrow. And Oliver would reply, 'Rather badly. He stood me up.' And they’d all be terribly sympathetic, cursing Lucien O’Donnell’s name to hell and back, telling Oliver he was too good for someone like that, anyway. And Oliver would try to convince himself it was true.

Oliver's POV of his first two meetings with Luc, and their first date.

Summary
As I hurtled along the pavement, my eyes fixed to Google Maps, I barely had time to think about the fact that in approximately one minute, I was going to be face-to-face with my ex-boyfriend for the first time in almost six months. More importantly, it meant I could pretend – both to Oliver Blackwood and to myself – that any unattractively sweaty, out-of-breath shakiness was due to having run the five minutes between the tube stop and the pub where we were meeting. No, actually, that was more than a little embarrassing. Perhaps I’d tell Oliver it was ten minutes – although he was the kind of considerate wanker who’d have checked my route in advance to make sure the pub wasn’t too far out of my way, so he’d know I was lying, but would be too well-mannered to point it out.

A canon-divergent fake-dating fic: what if Oliver never came to Luc's at the end of Boyfriend Material?
