When your last living connection to your bloodline passes on, it's normal to wipe the slate clean and re-invent yourself. For Hiraga Saito, he didn't think that hopscotching across the boundaries of time and space, and into the enslaving arms of a pink-haired aristocrat was a good way to start. But when life starts tossing magic-induced feudalism, ancient religious conspiracies, and world-ending catastrophes at your feet, you start realizing that the laws that govern reality are closer to suggestions than anything else.
(This is Fragments—a very AU Familiar of Zero fanfic. The Saito here is only a couple years older, but has lived a fairly different life compared to his canon counterpart, and has the personality to match. Snarkier, a little bit angrier, but still a huge goofball more often than not. Though my initial idea is to be somewhat canon compliant, it's more than likely going to go very off the rails at some point in time.)

Fuck, no I told you before. I am Tarnished. Not some sort of wand waving wizard with dead parents.
I am however some idiot who got trapped in the Lands Between and been forced to go through random loops while someone kept going through New Game+ after New Game+. You'd think after it was over, I'd be back home. But no! Fuck that! Fuck all of that!
I wake up, broken room, some person claiming to be, in a way to revealing outfit, to be a principal shouting at what the hell happened like I know! Do I look I know?! I just stopped being in a magical land that wanted me dead! Now here I am in the early 2000's at a school filled with idiots, pedos, and some really bitchy girl who thinks I'm amongst the idiots and pedos.
There is also Jeffery. But I don't talk about Jeffery.
Can't complain to much though. Back to some semblance of normalcy, in simpler times of 2007 when No Child Left Behind was still in effect. Having at least one friend, and... I don't know? Visiting the Lands Between at least once a week like a divorced kid.
Man, I better get through this without becoming a pill popper.

Summary
Sensha-dō, also known as Tankery or Panzerkraft if you are feeling fancy. A sport reserved for women where they have participate in it for decades...of course this sounds ridiculous but this is why we like the show known as Girls und Panzer, it's cool as hell.
As a history enthusiast and War Thunder player, Chi-Jin Yoo could honestly see the faults in the anime, nothing makes sense, tanks pulling Fast and Furious moves and tanks that are older than your grandmother somehow being able to take down modern tanks(Ahem, Renault FT). But it's an escape from reality, we watch this not to see historical accuracy.
Now imagine just waking up in such world, a world so similar yet different(Like who the hell decides to build secondary schools on ships), as a female it could change everything, as a male...well what the hell was he supposed to do? Start cross dressing to live out his fantasy? He has dignity.
However committing fraud isn't off the table...perhaps there is a way, a unconventional and highly illegal way if he gets caught but possible...it might change the history of the sport forever but he doesn'

After The Dreamer takes an inexplicable journey into reality, Omori believes the security of Headspace and the truth are in danger. Trying to stop the problem before it escalates, he plans to use The Dreamer's affections in order to keep him happy. But things become difficult when said girl appears in his dreams, and Omori begins to develop some emotions of his own.
