When she had a supporting role in the school theatre - no crimes. During high school finals - no crimes. (Most of) Her birthdays? - no crimes. New villains quickly learned of this routine and checked in with her before planning any particular misdemeanors.
It seemed whoever had decided to ambush Wordgirl’s wedding probably hadn’t gotten the memo yet, though.

Summary

Eden had told him in an anxious fevor, hands on his helmet, that Lenny was hurt and he didn’t know what to do. If she was okay. If her arm could be healed, if it would stay clean.
BB had to bite his tongue so hard. He wanted to tell him to join CONTACT, it was this strange desperation inside of him that made him ache to drag Eden into the mess with him, to have someone there. He’s selfish. He’s so selfish. He’s accepted this long ago (it’s all he has: himself, when in this world).
It didn’t end up being like that.

Summary
There's a list of things that Eden wanted to promise Lenny in this world: Love, for one. A place to sleep, another. Food, water, and peace the most of any item or concept. The bare minimum could barely be assured when it came to this post-apocalyptic cityscape.
Regardless: None of those things were ever going to be 'safety' or 'luxury', no matter how much Eden tried...Or, atleast, they weren't meant to be.
The world only ever gets more dangerous and his only relationships ever the most tumultous. Fighting two sensations inside him: one familiar and soft, the other sharp and aching, Eden becomes the unwitting middleman of a gift exchange between the two most important people in his life as violence and injury threatens to tear his world apart.

The moments of silence almost killed Joel.

So an agreement between the two was set.
Only they knew, they both promised to keep it to the two of them, and nobody else.

Summary
Scott wears his heart on his sleeve - or, more accurately, in his hair. It’s a fascinating thing to see, little motes of light wreathing his head like a crown or a halo and shifting from color to color as his emotions change, and Jimmy can’t help spending most of their conversations staring at the miniature light show rather than meeting his eyes. He mentally catalogues each color when he sees it, turning over the context in his mind and trying to find the connections so he can figure out what they actually mean.
