In an attempt to deal with an ambiguous situation, she learns about quite... unexpected Ekko's motives. At the same time, something dangerous is brewing somewhere under the Zaun...

Summary
Silco's... not a good parent. As much as he loves his daughter, he has a few flaws when it comes to her. But he can explain it all away, from slipping drugs into her tea to keep her his perfect little girl to keeping her safe away from the world. He can even explain giving her to the Enforcers in exchange for Zaun - after all, they've given their word that Jinx is not to be harmed.
Ekko, meanwhile, went to the bridge upon overhearing the Enforcers' plans to capture Jinx on their radios - she's too far gone, and as the last person who knew Powder as well as the leader of the Firelights, it's his job to put her down.
But after rescuing her instead upon realizing Jinx is still at least a little Powder, when he learns that 'Jinx' the persona isn't real but instead a defense mechanism, upon learning about the drugs in her system and the pain and fear inflicted on her, he insists she can be saved.
And thus begins the rest of her life.
(Featuring childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers Timebomb, a complicated relationship between Jinx and Silco, genius Firelight bioengineer Jinx/Powder, and Jinx proving she's stronger and better than anyone gives her credit for.)

Summary
There's only three constants when it comes to Jinx:
1. She never leaves anything behind.
2. She never visits two nights in a row.
3. She never stays into the morning.Ekko was used to this. Fine with it. If it meant that at least some nights he could hold her, know she was fine, he could deal with it. Even if he wanted more. So much more.
But when Jinx starts breaking each rule, one by one, Ekko realizes that what they have is not enough. But he's too much of a coward to ask for more. And it's ruining his life.

We start all the way at the bottom so the only way to go is up! Eventual Timebomb focus.
Jinx tries to survive after killing a father figure for the second time, both desperate for connection and rejecting affection at every turn. Slowly she will find people to attach to and reconnect with some of her lost family, but still she keeps them at arm's length, deathly afraid of jinxing them.

Summary
Jinx doesn’t believe in miracles. Not when ghosts haunt her every step, whispering in the dark, clawing at the edges of her sanity. Not when the past refuses to stay buried, and no amount of medication, therapy, or forced optimism can silence the voices in her head.
But Ekko? Ekko still believes. In her. In the girl she used to be. In the person she could become, if only she stopped running long enough to let someone in.
Breaking down doors is easy. Dragging someone back from the edge? That’s another story. And Ekko’s not sure how many more times he can pull her out before she lets go for good.

He didn’t want it to happen, so he volunteered himself-, didn’t even bother haggling just shoved gold right into the matchmaker’s hand and stomped on down to the match himself, boxing wrap secured around his hands and wrists whilst metallic and spiked vambraces and elbow pads slapped on just as the doors opened up.
The spiked pieces of his clothing were off now, and the images of her face pulverized were gone now.
And in their place was something just as unwelcomed of her face being furi-
‘BANG!’
The door to his room, metallic and rusty, slammed into the wall suddenly. Ekko jolted, cooling metal dropping to the floor with a series of metallic, ‘clang, clang, clang,’ as it fell and bounced along the ground. Quickly the newly crowned champion turned around and-
