“No. Maggie,” he called again, and seeing the terror his face was tightened with, panic shot through her, and she tapped his arm with slightly more force, insistently saying, “hey, OA. Wake up for me, okay?” and as he stirred, though the fear was still on his face, she repeated, “wake up OA. C’mon.”
She tried to shake his arm, and when she got small sounds of distress, causing her own panic to grow, she was about to call out even louder when he jerked his head up, and she startled slightly at the suddenness of it.
His terror filled and unfocused eyes landed on her, and only after a pause did he let out a breath and she saw the tension leave his body.She didn't have to be part of the Bureau to understand what the nightmare had been about.
