He only followed the path for a little longer when it broke off into a clearing. The clearing was surrounded with trees and the thick fog. Suspended in thin air above the clearing between the trees was a girl. But she wasn’t normal, even from a distance. She didn't radiate humanity, similar to ability users.
It took Dazai only a moment to realise that the girl was not floating, but rather caught in threads. Her blood was dripping slightly off the threads in beads.
On the ground was what looked like a human boy. His clothes were in a plaid design of green and black. He had a katana drawn in a defensive stance. A small boy was on the other side of the clearing with his hands held up as if he were weaving something.

“Mori has called a meeting of the Executives to determine what to do about the blasted Detective Agency not following through on their side of the deal, and you think that me being on edge is me being sensitive? Are you insane?”
