Summary
This is an omegaverse yakuza story, which means quite a bit of dark material is referenced. If you are uncomfortable with that then this story is not for you, please don’t force yourself to read it.
They say the dead don’t speak, but Kuroo’s presence lingers in every shadow, every memory, every piece of Kenma that refuses to let go.
Seven years ago, Kenma was happy, living a normal life in rural Japan with his best friend and alpha, Kuroo. But an attack takes everything from him, leaving him alone and scared. Taken in by a yakuza syndicate, Kenma has to learn to live again.

And for a split second, when Tim's looking deep into his eyes, he can pretend that everything is how it should be. That the look in Kon's eyes is love, that he's consciously calling Tim those sweet pet names, that he isn't going to leave after this.
