Summary
It’s been twenty years since the war with the Empire ended, and while everyone around him ages, Yuri does not. Remaining forever young sounds great in theory, but in practice, the sight of watching each of your friends wither away is mortifying. The lack of answers, even more so. Not for lack of trying; the last time Yuri attempted to get to the bottom of this, it ended in a nasty split with someone he thought he could trust. He’ll have to dig up old wounds to get the truth, and that would be fine, if the truth wasn’t somehow linked to Agarthan remnants, rabid monsters, and his ex-husband.
It’s been twenty years since the war with the Empire ended, and while everyone around him ages, Byleth does not—just like Seteth and Rhea said. What he didn’t expect, though, was the eternal youth of his former husband. Nor did he think he’d have to fall deeper into his lie.

Summary

So as war dawns they begin to fight together for the future of Faerghus, against foes within and without and challenges they'd never expected. But the more they approach the truth of the Kingdom's tragedies, the more Shez starts to see the sadness behind Rodrigue's eyes, and the more he starts to realize: maybe he doesn't just want to be a friend to Rodrigue, but something more.

Felix had argued vehemently, while Ingrid ripped the room apart to find clothing for them to wear and Sylvain listened at the cracked door to the soldiers downstairs informing the unimpressed brothel owner that they were conducting a routine search for spies from the Kingdom and would need access to all customer rooms, that there was no good reason he had to wear the costume and Sylvain got to keep (most of) his own clothes on.
Sylvain had—heroically, he thinks—refrained from saying either “You’re prettier” or “You’re so much smaller,” both of which are absolutely true and either of which would have earned him at least a minor stabbing.

Cast back through time by Gaia, and turned into a toddler by Jenova, Cloud is having the (second) worst day of his life. So it makes sense with his luck that he would be captured by a red-haired SOLDIER First and brought directly into Sephiroth's clutches. But that was fine; he'd dealt with worse odds before (he really hadn't). He would simply have to find a way to escape and continue destroying Jenova and every Mako reactor. No one could stop him escaping if he didn't want ... Zack?
