However, life itself offers him a different way forward when, inside the trash, he finds a gleaming golden helmet that seems to call to him. Against all reason, Izuku decides to put it on, and this leads him to an infinite cosmos of possibilities when he discovers he was chosen by an ancient Egyptian god to become the Lord of Order in the new age of magic.

But the longer he’s stuck in Musutafu, forced to interact with idealistic children who dream of being heroes, the more the mask he’s worn for millennia begins to crack.
Turns out even the Father of Humanity still has a few things to learn about what it means to be human. And maybe — just maybe — a tired, angry, ancient man can find something in this strange world that he lost in Eden: a reason to live.

In this universe, Sanguinius meets his only biological nephew, (the child of Konrad fucking Curze of all Primarchs), adopts him, (mostly by accident), brings his family together again, (entirely by accident), and avoids the worst possible outcome for humanity thanks to the power of frustration. He also manages to accidentally rewrite reality by doing all of this... no big deal.

Expect misunderstandings, convenient accidents and lots and lots of lamenting by a protagonist who insists that none of this was his idea.
No prior knowledge of Warhammer 40,000 is required, though readers familiar with Ciaphas Cain may notice that some habits are impossible to unlearn, even with a wand in hand.
