Summary
A steaming mug of darorn fruit, the hum of a bustling market, the crispness of an unworn uniform—mundane things, yet they all pull Garrus back to Shepard. All he has are fragments of their time together, haunting him in the silence of space, not knowing whether she’s dead or alive.
Story told through Garrus' nonlinear memories, as he commands Normandy in the aftermath of the Reaper War. Six months of a perilous journey, the crew faces the harsh realities of survival in a post-war-torn galaxy. With the Mass Relays destroyed, the Normandy's FTL drive is their only lifeline, and every day is a struggle against dwindling resources and the unknown.

Summary
The Rubicon. A line that's been crossed; a point of no return.
With only hours left before the inevitable, Garrus seeks out Shepard and proposes going on one last date to spend what could be their last day alive on just being together. When Shepard agrees, they take a small walk down memory lane. Bittersweet and light on plot.

Summary
A long-term ground mission on Hackett’s orders in the wake of the war. Traveling across forgotten wastelands and destroyed communities with just a ground car and Garrus, Shepard can’t help but let exhaustion and frustration get to her. Even on the open road, she’s never felt more trapped. And with the wall she can’t seem to get past between her and Garrus, her usual escape has never felt further away.
It feels like they’re just chasing ghosts—but who knows? As Shepard starts seeing strange things in the dark, maybe it’s more they’re chasing than a not so long ago past.

Summary
Thirty years since first contact. Thirty years of war between the turians and the humans. Shanxi, a human fringe colony in the Traverse, has been the epicenter of the fighting. And humans are in the eleventh hour, about to lose not only their colonies, but their way of life. The only hope they have left is a Prothean beacon found hidden beneath labs-- a beacon which could, if given to the salarians, turn the tide of the war. The problem is: the turians want it just as badly.
Commander Roni Shepard wears her uniform more comfortably than her own skin. But a traumatic injury from the batarians, a client race to the Hierarchy, has left her unsure of everything she used to be secure in.
Lieutenant-Commander Garrus Vakarian thinks outside of the box, much to the chagrin of his commanding officers, his father, and the very establishment he fights for. When he uncovers a dark secret embedded deep within his own military, he holds on to the hope that others can put a stop to it, even if it destroys everything.
When both of them are tasked with securing the Prothean beacon, their lives will intertwine, and everything they thought they knew flies out the window when a mysterious ship also comes to collect.

Summary
After Shepard destroyed the Crucible, the energy expelled from the blast has changed her. She's immortal, she cannot age-- and what's more, she seemed to consume the blast, which threatens to hurt everyone around her. She left Garrus in the middle of the night in an attempt to save him, and never looked back.
Nineteen year later, and Garrus is a shell of what he once was. He drinks too much, he has too many ex-wives, and not a single turian in their right state of mind would pay him any respect. What was supposed to be a routine mission to a fringe colony turned into something even he didn't know how to describe when he picks up an SOS signal from a shuttle. What he wasn't suspected was it to be Shepard, and what was even more-- he didn't expect a blast to come out of her body that killed half his crew.
As the blast knocked them off course, Shepard and Garrus must find a way to cohabitate after nineteen years of scorn. If Shepard is just going to leave again, then Garrus wants no part in it. And if Garrus had moved on a long time ago, Shepard sees no reason for civility.
But what either of them did not anticipate was that maybe, in nineteen years, maybe neither of them changed all that much to begin with.
