Heya,
So this was originally going to be me trying to recreate what was in Asriel's love letters from his drawer in chapter 5. It very quickly developed into a couple little Dessriel one-shots featuring a little rascal Kris and some implied December angst. If that's something you're interested in, please enjoy! They’re all very lighthearted, really, at most, if you squint, I imply some slight drug use with Dess's 'unique' leaves from her mint can, but it’s insanely fluffy otherwise especially in the chapter about the Festival ferris wheel ride.Anyway, enough yapping, enjoy Asriel stressin over some letters

Asriel had been quiet for a while. Airing everyone he knew, the person closest to him, December Holiday, got suspicious what he was up to. Needless to say, when she went over and saw him sitting in silence in the dark, that rung a few alarm bells.

"Aren't you scared he's gonna get bored?" Bratty asks, and while Dess would like to believe her and Asriel's relationship is stable enough that nobody can touch it, she feels herself crumble a little.
"What do you mean?"
"Men have, like, needs, you know." Bratty says as if it's obvious. "I swear all they think about is sex. Aren't you worried he's gonna get fed up if you don't give him what he wants?"

Summary
Both of them didn't talk much for the rest of the night apart from monosyllables between minutes—didn't last much longer anyway, Mom and Dad couldn't stay out that late at church. He can't remember much more than the vague sound of the kaiju's roars through the screen, the feeling that his eyes were reddening even though they didn't hurt, and the sudden bitter taste he felt in one of the last sips of cocoa.
Asriel wakes up with a terrible stomachache the morning after spending the night with Dess. Good thing she'll take care of him.
