“Then I’ll just keep you safe,” Obi-Wan pressed a kiss to the top of Anakin’s head, feeling as the arm around his waist tightened. There was a vague hum of agreement, then a few moments of silence before Anakin completely slumped against him, asleep.

“Master, what are you doing here?” Obi-wan asked, looking at the small bundle of a burnt orange blanket his master was cradling to his chest.
“Same as you, it seems. Taking refuge in the warmer part of the ship, it appears that adapting to the coldness of space is still presenting a bit of a challenge for our young Ani.” Qui-Gon said, shifting the mound within his arms, the blanket falling some to reveal Anakin’s soft shade of light-toned hair as he rested his head against Qui-Gon's shoulder.
“S-so c-cold.” His teeth chattering as he spoke, a sympathetic look passing over Qui-Gon’s face as he tried to wrap the blanket tighter around Anakin and Obi-Wan found himself stepping forward to help his master securing the blanket tighter around the shivering boy. Despite his conflicted feelings regarding his path towards training as a Jedi under the guidance of his master.
